CATERHAM ROCKS IS BACK!

Caterham’s ultimate Battle of the Bands returns to Soper Hall on Saturday, 25th April 2026.

After a sold-out debut, we’re cranking the volume to eleven. We are looking for the best local talent—any genre, covers or originals—to take the stage, win the crowd, and claim the title of Caterham Rocks 2026 Champion.

This isn’t just a gig; it’s a night of great music, good vibes, and giving back to the community. All proceeds from the night go directly to local charities and initiatives.

A £750 WINNER’S PACKAGE

We’re putting more on the line this year. The winning band receives:

  • £250 Cash for the band.

  • £250 Paid Slot at the legendary Caterham Beer Festival.

  • £250 Donation to a local charity of your choice.

  • The Caterham Rocks Trophy and local bragging rights for the year.

Second place doesn’t go home empty-handed: We will donate £250 to a local charity of the runner-up’s choice.

THE GEAR & LOGISTICS

We provide the production; you provide the performance.

  • The Set: 20-minute slots. The winner will be invited back for a victory set once announced!

  • The Venue: Soper Hall, Caterham. Capacity 150 (Over 18s).

  • The Sound: Full PA system, professional sound engineer, mics, stands, and lighting rig provided.

The Backline:

  • Guitar: 1x Marshall AVT150, 1x Laney TF120.

  • Bass: 1x Laney 120w.

  • Drums: A full house kit (shells and stands) is provided.

  • Note to Drummers: You must bring your own breakables (Snare, Cymbals, Kick Pedal, Sticks, and Hi-Hat Clutch).

KEY DATES

  • Entries Close: 28th February 2026

  • Line-up Announced: 5th March 2026

  • The Main Event: Saturday, 25th April 2026

  • Doors: 17:30

     

  • Bands start 18:30

HOW TO ENTER

Entry is FREE. We want to hear what you’ve got. To apply, send an email to bands@caterhamrocks.com with the following information:

  1. Band Name & Bio: Who are you and what do you do?

  2. The Music: Attach or link to a demo (live or studio) or a video of a recent performance.

  3. Contact Info: Name and phone number for the primary contact.

Don’t wait! Last year’s event sold out weeks in advance. If you want to play to a packed house and support local causes, get your application in before the February 28th deadline.
