This isn’t just any event; it’s a thrilling ride up Waller Lane, a challenging road in Surrey that boasts a heart-pumping 20% incline over 0.31 miles, complete with 210 feet of climbing.

But here's the best part: it's for everyone! Whether you’re an elite rider eyeing the championship, a club enthusiast, a newbie parent on a grocery-getter, or a kiddo on a balance bike (with perhaps a parent for a little push), there’s a spot for you. Tandems, unicycles, trikes - if you can ride it, you can bring it.

This hill climb is all about the joy of cycling and the cheer of the crowd, as part of the vibrant Caterham Festival. So, let’s make some noise and have a blast on the hill!

Feeling eager? Secure your spot with an early bird entry for just £5 (until 1st May), a standard £7.50 donation, or decide to join the day-of for £10. And hey, if you’re under 12, you ride for free!

Be there by 9-9:30am to snag your number and get set up. First rider launches at 10am sharp. Let’s pedal, laugh, and climb together in the most inclusive, heartwarming cycling event of the year!

For over 100 years, Waller Lane has provided a challenge for elite cyclists and enthusiastic amateurs alike! The infamous Catford Hill Climb was held here back in the 1890s. For the last 10 years, it has been home to Caterham Round Table's Waller Pain.
